Meet Lily Persichetti

This month, we spoke to Lily Persichetti of Supré, to learn more about her career journey from school to Supré, her tips on how to find success in social media and more.

Tell us a bit about yourself:

At 24, I consider myself still in the early stages of my marketing career, but the journey so far has been fast-paced and incredibly rewarding. My passion for social media marketing sparked while studying a Bachelor of Marketing and Psychology at university. While working a retail job, I had a chance encounter with a customer who happened to be a creative director at a TikTok agency. This led to an invaluable three-month internship where I immersed myself in the world of short-form content, learning the ins and outs of TikTok strategy, audience engagement and campaign execution for a diverse range of clients.

Following my internship, I transitioned into a Social Media Coordinator role at the same agency, where I refined my skills in video editing, content conceptualization, copywriting and client management. This role gave me hands-on experience in developing tailored social strategies, optimizing content for engagement and navigating the fast-moving landscape of social media trends.

Eager to expand my expertise and work on a larger global scale, particularly within the fashion industry — an area I’ve always been passionate about — I joined Supré as a Brand Communications Coordinator. In this role, I worked across social media, influencer partnerships, brand campaigns and internal foundation strategy and communications, gaining exposure to both creative and strategic brand storytelling. Managing influencer collaborations and community engagement gave me insight into the power of authentic brand relationships and the importance of aligning content with a brand’s core values.

Today, as a Social Media Specialist, I’ve taken on a more strategic and high-level approach to brand communications, focusing on creating a holistic and results-driven social media strategy. This role has challenged me in the best way possible, pushing me to think critically, forecast emerging trends and craft content that truly resonates with audiences.

With each step in my career, I’ve learned the value of staying curious, innovative and adaptable. My goal is always to create engaging, impactful and culturally relevant content that captures attention and drives meaningful connections with our audience. I’m excited to continue growing and making my mark in the industry.

What do you love about working in social?

Wow, what don’t I love about social? It’s fast-paced, constantly changing and full of creativity — no two days are the same! I love bringing brands to life, building real connections and creating content that’s fun, engaging and pushes boundaries. Social is a space where no idea is too wild and that energy keeps me inspired. It challenges me to stay ahead, think big, and make an impact — and that’s what makes it so exciting!

How do you stay on top of social trends?

I stay on top of social trends by immersing myself in each platform and getting a real, authentic feel for what’s gaining traction. But it’s not just about chasing virality, it’s about knowing what truly fits our brand and audience. We’ve also conducted focus groups with our target demographic, which has provided amazing insight into what connects with users. Not every trend is the right trend, so I focus on curating content that aligns with Supré’s brand’s voice to create content that feels organic and engaging.

What strategies do you use to increase engagement?

To increase engagement rates, we’ve defined our top-performing content pillars, allowing us to diversify content without spreading ourselves too thin. We know what we want our audience to recognize us for — whether it’s fun, in-store moments or helpful product education, we aren’t afraid of adapting our strategy if our audience isn’t engaging, as we are always listening, tracking shifts in engagement and adjusting in real-time to keep our content fresh, exciting and in tune with what our audience wants.

What social campaign are you most proud of from your time with Supré?

Every campaign is a highlight for me because they’re all so different, but one that stands out is Supré’s first-ever collaboration campaign with By Poppy last October. Since this was something the brand had never done before, it gave me the chance to push creative boundaries and find new ways to resonate and engage with our audience. It also challenged me in a new way — bringing to life a multifaceted campaign that required balancing and managing multiple content streams at once.

Another standout for me is our new store opening activities. These moments are special because they allow me to create real-life connections between our customers and Supré, turning digital engagement into something tangible and memorable.

Top tips on how to be a successful social media manager?

Stay curious and keep your finger on the pulse. Social media is always evolving, so staying ahead of trends and audience behaviours is key. But don’t just chase viral moments — focus on creating meaningful, engaging content that truly resonates.

Look at the bigger picture. It’s easy to get caught up in the small details, but always step back and ask yourself: What is this content trying to achieve? A strong strategy goes beyond individual posts — it’s about long-term impact and connection with your audience.

What is your favorite Dash Social feature?

The recommended posting times with engagement levels. This feature is incredibly useful as it provides valuable insights into when our audience is most active, helping us optimize content performance and ensure we’re reaching the right people at the right time.
